Looking for Spring....In January

We're only a month into our long winter and already I'm "over it".  Maybe it's because Mr. Hubby just got back from Florida where the weather was sunny and warm.  Possibly a little issue thinking about him walking the beach while I was walking the sidewalk with a snow shovel.  Anyway....a few pictures of spring and summer and the promise of what is to come....in about four months.

Oh do my kids make fun of my old pink bike in the side yard.

Green grass and beautiful pink peonies.  Sigh......

Oh and the pink rhododendron that bloomed so beautifully last year.

Even the front door was happy with pink blooms to welcome the warmer weather.

OK, I feel a little better now, everything outside is blanketed in white which is beautiful too and I know that when spring arrives all my pinks will be renewed and I'll be tickled pink.

If you need a pink pick me up today it's Pink Saturday over at How Sweet the Sound

Beautiful. I especially like the pink bike. Reminds me of the bicycle I had when I was a young girl - way back in the 40s. I'm blessed to live in Arizona where the sun shines almost every day. It is shining brightly right now although the temp is only in the 40s it will be in the 60s later in the day.
Happy Pink Saturday.

My area is snow covered, too, with more to come tonight. I enjoyed seeing your pretty spring pictures. It will be spring again before you know it!

Oh gracious - how CUTE! My senior mom wants to create a butterfly, bird and hummingbird garden this spring - complete with a cute bird house or ten. I'll have to show her your adorable bike idea. We have outgrown grandkid bikes in the garage. Some spraypaint and she'd have a cute holder for the bird houses that she can easily reach - and full of sweet family memories. What a fun idea. Thank you :)

Oh, I needed these (warm) spring pictures today! Though we aren't dealing with a blanket of white the cold winds and expected ice aren't making me do the happy dance to be sure. BTW, I LOVE your pink bike and one day will have my own!

What a beautiful share today. I absolutely love it. That pink bike it just gorgeous. I would love it in my yard too. What do kids know about pink beauty anyway?

Love your flowers, they were so beautiful, and they will be once again in the Spring. Just get through the Winter sweetie. Your front door looks so gorgeous with the pink. You could decorate it early. Who says you have to wait for Spring?

Oh my, that is the most adorable bike ever!!!! I have been wanting an old bike like that for years to do the same thing with. Amy, at Maison Decor, has one too that she painted an aqua blue color. So cute!

So glad to have found your lovely blog!

I am in no way ready for spring yet, but I don't live where the weather is severe. I do however love the blooms you shared with us today and look forward to seeing some in my garden. Happy Pink Saturday to you, Char
