Words of Wisdom

“After traveling through fourteen foreign countries and appearing before all the royalty and nobility I have only one wish today. That is that when my eyes are closed in death that they will bury me back in that quiet little farm land where I was born.”
Annie Oakley

and so she was...  I found her grave just outside a little town in Ohio while I was traveling this summer. She was laid to rest in the middle of the tall corn growing in the field .  Just a tiny little sign on the side of the road that said "Annie Oakley's grave with an arrow pointing down the old road.  Hopefully all of us will have our important wishes carried out so faithfully.

Yes, Annie is from up the road in Greenville- a legend in that sleepy little town. What were you doing in Ohio? Just passing through?
I love going to market. It always cracks me up when people tell me they go to buy their furniture there so they can get it at cost! LOL I do believe they really think that! They could be negotiating a fair price with their local stores and not have to drive down or have their purchases drop-shipped.
Thanks for dropping by. I took pics, but we only went down for accessories this trip, so I have very few upholstery pictures. Big color is still gray, with purple another popular color.
