Back to Mexico

Well my dear friend has come through again. He has given me another week in Mexico this year. Last year was such a great time, I posted about how I enjoyed the time with my sister-in- law and her two sisters. I had every intention of inviting them back again this year if J. offered the place to me. We even talked about it on Father's Day when we were all together. I truly feel that they all had a wonderful time and I know I sure did. The Monday after Father's Day my brother was pronounced cancer free after a long bout with colon cancer, two days later my sister-in-law asked for a divorce. To say we are still reeling from the shock would be an understatement. My sister-in-law won't be going with me to Mexico this year and unfortunately although I would love to have the opportunity to travel with them again this year neither will her sisters. That would just be tooooooooo awkward. I travel alone often, actually I prefer it when I'm intent on exploring. As I said before when I'm in Mexico its Rule #1. Go do whatever you want, I'm just sitting in the sun and enjoying the peace and quiet. Last year the "girls" were so into that and also understood that rule #1 wasn't an insult but a pass to do whatever they wanted and not feel guilty about leaving the hostess behind. It was perfect. So now what to do????????? I asked my daughter if she would like to go and she said yes. We don't travel often together as we are kind of like toxic waste after a couple of days together but I was happy as a clam to have her jump on the bandwagon with me. I also asked my soon to be daughter in law if she and her mama would like to come. I thought, what a great way for us all to get to know one another better and I also know they wouldn't be upset over rule #1. Katie (dil) has a twin, she make be making the trek with us too. Its a big place so having a couple more along will just make it more fun. Who knows, maybe this year be even better than last year!
