The last of Summer's Chintz



I didn't have any appropriate chargers or place mats so I used some

pastel raffia that I had picked up from our local Pottery Barn outlet

for next to nothing after Easter.  The silver is a pattern I've

been collecting  from Pottery Barn for the past few months,

 its called Maxfield Hotel.  I love that each piece of a place setting

 is a different pattern.

  I did this table for a group of friends recently.  The china is Summer Chintz and its one of my summer favorites.  It looks beautiful from Easter until the leaves start to change.  I picked the pieces up at a local antique store for $1 each.  I was in china heaven that day and I placed my treasures in the back of my car.

The pink bowl was a great find for next to nothing at Goodwill.
I served fresh rolls from the oven in it for this particular luncheon.

Unfortunately I didn't get a close up of the silver but on this

 single place setting you

can see that each piece is different.





The small dessert plates I used were a gift from my daughter. 
She purchased several sets for me in the cute little holder
tied with a pink ribbon.  The napkins were made from
some leftover cotton fabric I had in my stash.

This is the last of summers tables, next week its on
to fall and more earthy tones.
